Temporary tears delay your entrance to the night, the otherside of daylight ready for your fall but still the stamina in you clings. I loiter at white lines watching red & green alternate until your sleeping breaths are contently exhaled via pretty little lungs conducting symphonies in nightlights.

My heart stopped when I thought her heart had stopped. She exhaled and a tsunami of relief washed over me, my cardiac muscle caught up on time and pounded like a snare for a full minute.
I did the research and became a believer in the need to spread the word on the techniques & consequences of BHS.
Parents: do not fear.

We wake from a half-sleep at deafening dawn; a dreamless slumber severed in three doesn’t prepare us as it should for a day of work & childcare.
Harry Redknapp-esque eyelids haunt us from the get go, making vision a chore and aesthetics a no show. We do our best to put one foot in front of the other but fail spectacularly.
